Rebar and formwork installation continues at the tower core
During the weekend of December 19th
Workers will be on site Saturday to continue installing rebar at the core structure in the tower. Crews will also continue removing the cross braces from the Support Of Excavation (SOE) system; a crane will be set up on site, adjacent to Commonwealth Avenue, to assist with the removal.
During the week of December 21st
Removal of the Support Of Excavation (SOE) bracing will continue in the tower. Bracing removal will begin in the podium.
Backfilling around the podium foundation walls will continue.
The installation of rebar and formwork for the stepped slab, at the transition from the podium to the tower, will continue. The lower portion of the stepped slab is scheduled for concrete placement early in the week.
Rebar and formwork installation will also continue at the exterior foundation walls in the tower.
