During the weekend of November 20th

  • On Saturday, removal of the temporary shoring columns and beams supporting the building cantilevers will continue. Crews will also continue installation of rails and platforms for elevators 4, 5, and 6 in the tower’s core. Intumescent fireproofing of the columns in the podium and spray fireproofing of the columns and beams in the tower, installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (MEP) rough, and installation of tarps to enclose the upper floors of the tower ahead of the coming winter weather will also continue.

During the week of November 22nd

  • Removal of the temporary shoring columns and beams supporting the building cantilevers will continue.
  • In the tower’s subbasement and lower level, crews from the MEP subcontractors will continue fitting out the MEP systems. Drywall installation will continue.
  • On floors 2 through 19 of the tower, the MEP subcontractors will continue installing electrical conduit, hangers, and piping. Wall layout and framing will continue on the lower floors of the tower.
  • Following the installation of tarps on the upper floors of the tower, crews will begin applying a fireproof coating to the interior steel beams and columns for the tower’s 17th and 18th-floor framing (working from the 16th and 17th floors respectively) and a white fireproof coating on the exterior columns.
  • The elevator subcontractor will continue installing equipment, rails, and platforms for elevators 4, 5, and 6, located on the south side of the tower’s core.
  • In the podium, installation of above ceiling sprinkler pipe, ductwork, and fan coil units will continue on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Wall framing will continue throughout.
  • Starting on Monday, during second shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, crews will be on site removing the temporary shoring steel from the lower level.
  • In recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday, the site will be closed on Thursday, and workers will return to the site on Friday.
  • Trucking activity to and from the site will be occurring daily with trucks entering and exiting the designated gates.
