Kilachand Hall Phase 2 – Construction Update – 3/10/23

Weekend Work – Saturday, March 11th

Mass Acoustics: Carpenters focusing on raised floor framing and finishing up gable end header framing on level 9.
Badd Bros: Ironworkers to perform miscellaneous roof tie-ins to accelerate closing up exterior.
SOS: Miscellaneous demo to enable roof dunnage support install.

New roof install at terrace roof on level 7 outside of suite 709R. This activity has been ongoing during spring break week but might carry into the week of the 13th.

Riggs masonry crew continuing with brick rebuild of level 8 façade on west and south elevations.
Badd Bros continuing with new steel stair installation. They will also be working on structural reinforcement details on level 8.
Royal Steam Plumbing and Murphy Electric to continue with rough-in work on levels 7, 8, and 9.
Mass Acoustics continuing with exterior framing and sheathing at expansion areas on level 9, raised floor framing on level 9, spray foam insulation exterior wall locations, and sheetrock taping and sanding on levels 6 and 7 in renovated suite areas.
Egan Painters are onsite working on levels 4 through 6 with prime and first coats of paint, following the Mass Acoustics tapers.
ThyssenKrupp Elevator mechanics are continuing to build out new elevator cars.
JC Floorcovers continue with waterproofing and tile work in new suite area bathrooms.
Salem Glass wrapping up curtain wall frame installation.
Consigli/Riggs team onsite cleaning, site support, and supervision.
