West Campus Dining Expansion – Construction Update – 6/30/23

General Project Updates

This past week saw the following construction activity – metal stud framing, sheetrock installation, rough plumbing installation, rough electrical installation, selective demolition, and demolition of epoxy floors.
The contractor received inspections on plumbing and rough electrical and has started to board up the walls in the additional dining area and gluten-free concept.

There is no planned work on site on Tuesday, July 4th
Starting on Wednesday, July 5, exterior site work will require the closure of the West Campus Plaza through August 10.
Other work taking place next week will include excavation of site utilities, continued installation of drywall, electrical, and plumbing, rooftop exhaust fan installation, roofing pull test, installation of scaffold stair tower at the loading dock (roof access), a continuation of epoxy floor demolition in kitchen, and mechanical equipment installation.
An electrical shutdown of one of the electrical panels to facilitate new wiring will also take place next week.
