Suites on the Charles River Campus were reconfigured to meet the programmatic needs of the new Center for Antiracist Research. The center serves as a research and scholarly hub dedicated to understanding, explaining, and solving problems of racial inequity and injustice and will be led by professor, author, scholar, and center director, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi.

The project features:

  • A racial data lab and a library that both house state-of-the-art AV systems to facilitate research and for public conversations and presentations
  • Large spaces for collaboration
  • Workspace for up to 26 staff members
  • New ceilings
  • Upgraded lighting
  • New paint, including restoring and painting existing wood paneling

Members of the team were honored to be part of a project with such an imperative and inspiring mission.
