CPO renovated the building’s first floor to create space for Kilachand Honors College. To provide a living/learning environment for students, the student residence renovation created dedicated space for the KHC program. The building continues to offer undergraduate residence space on the upper floors. The renovation incorporated sustainable features, including cork floors and LED lighting. Phase one, which took place during the summer of 2013, created new office space for KHC and included upgrades to the common room, restrooms, laundry, and bike rooms. The old dining room (approximately 3,300 square feet) off the main lobby was converted into a student lounge and study area.
