About CPO
With nearly 900 employees reflecting a wide range of specialties and expertise, CPO is responsible for renewing, developing, and maintaining the University’s built environment, including real estate purchases and sales, residential and commercial leasing, space planning, design and construction, engineering and building systems, and facilities and grounds management. With great pride as stewards of the University’s physical environment, our offices create programs to promote capital renewal, improve the resiliency of BU operations, and maintain University facilities to the highest standards in partnership with stakeholders across our community.
CPO comprises four main departments: Office of the Vice President, Facilities Management & Operations, Planning, Design & Construction, and Real Estate.
