Vocation, Work and Faith
TC837: Vocation, Work and Faith
Dr. Claire Wolfteich
Are you wrestling with questions about vocation or calling? Does the challenge of balancing faith, work, and vocation seem daunting? Are you interested in reflecting theologically and personally about the integration of work, faith, and vocation? Through texts, case studies, discussion, personal reflections, and community engagement, this course will consider themes such as: work as spiritual practice or challenge; work as vocation; creativity; prayer and work; fragmentation; use of time; and discernment. The course will involve a practical theological project. Wednesdays, 3pm-6pm. Taught by Claire Wolfteich, Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Spiritual Formation, cwolftei@bu.edu
