About the Center

The Center for Research to Evaluate and Eliminate Dental Disparities (CREEDD) is funded by a 7-year grant from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  The grant, totaling just over $14.5 million, will fund CREEDD from 2008 to 2015.  Dr. Raul Garcia and Dr. Michelle Henshaw, from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine Department of Health Policy and Health Services Research, serve as Co-Directors of the Center.

Mission

CREEDD’s mission is to improve oral, dental and craniofacial health through research, research training, and the dissemination of health information, with a focus on the elimination of oral health disparities

The Center is supported by NIH/NIDCR grant U54 DE019275
