Wenxin Feng (GRS ’19) helps develop wearable technology to help people with ALS

Wenxin Feng (GRS ’19) is currently working with Pison Technologies, a Cambridge based start-up, to develop wearable technology to help people diagnosed with ALS control laptops, phones and electronic wheelchairs more effectively and affordably. Feng originally became interested in developing ALS technology after working with Professor Margrit Betke on her Camera Mouse research, and has been working with the Pison team to develop the keyboard and mouse interface. Pison recently won the 2016 International ALS Assistive Technology Challenge and hopes to have the device market ready by late 2018!
