Summer Co-op/Advanced Analytics
Explore, develop and utilize programming and statistical skills. Extensively collaborate with GSK computational biologists in applying machine learning and programming techniques to understand core oncology concepts, apply statistical measures and streamline multi-comics pipelines. Support GSK computational biologists in developing and implementing solutions designed to drive the interrogation of multi-comics data.
Basic Qualifications:
We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science or Math major with emphasis on programming skills using Python, C/C++ and R. Some database and containerizing experience would be a good addition.
Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 6 month co-op.
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
