Douglas Garrett

Doug has worked in Bioinformatics Software Engineering for over 10 years, primarily at Genentech Research and Early Development in the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology department as a Programmer Analyst and Software Engineer. In January 2015 Doug transferred to another division of Roche, the parent company of Genentech, and now works in Roche Diagnostics’ new Sequencing Unit as a Research Leader managing the Bioinformatics Pipeline Development group which is helping to develop new diagnostic instruments using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
