2018 Innovator of the Year Nomination Process

Do you know a Boston University researcher involved in innovative research that will lead to promising products or services? Nominate him/her for BU’s Innovator of the Year award!
The Innovator of the Year is awarded annually by BU’s Technology Development office (OTD) to a BU faculty member who has:
- conducted peer-recognized world-class research; and
- translated this research by developing intellectual property (IP) protected product(s) or process(es) of significant value to society that were adopted or have a high probability of being adopted for practical use.
Faculty, staff, and students may submit nominations. Self-nominations are allowed. Nominations are due by September 14, 2018. View the full eligibility requirements.
The Innovator of the Year will be announced at this year’s BU Connect event on October 23, 2018, from 4-8 pm at the GSU Metcalf Ballroom.
