Writing Business Proposals
In this workshop for faculty, Abi Barrow of Cambridge Innovation Partners will provide tools and guidance for faculty writing business proposals. The seminar will focus closely on BU’s Ignition Award, which supports research projects with clear commercial potential, and offer tactics for preparing a winning proposal. It will also include tips on selling your idea to potential investors, customers, and collaborators.
Participants can expect to leave the seminar with a stronger understanding of how to describe your invention or project to show technical feasibility, how to illustrate a market problem and your solution to it, and how to establish project deliverables that can attract next-round funding and proceed to commercialization.
