RELIGIOUS ASSESSMENTS
The Danielsen Institute specializes in providing psychological assessments for members of the religious community such as seminarians, theology students, those in preparation for ministry, as well as candidates for ordination and those seeking to join religious orders and/or participate in religious life. These assessments are designed not merely to screen for the existence of mental health difficulties but also to capture some of the following in a comprehensive and balanced way:
- coping mechanisms
- meaning-making capacities
- developmental issues and horizons
- areas of personal and relational strength and vulnerability
Results and recommendations are shared with the client via a thorough feedback session and clinicians remain available for any needed follow-up consultation or discussion regarding the recommendations.
Fees for religious and clergy-in-crisis religious assessments can be discussed by calling the Danielsen Institute at 617-353-3047.
