Pediatric Oral Healthcare Center

The Pediatric Oral Healthcare Center is involved in a multitude of projects related to the implementation and evaluation of dental and inter-professional care for vulnerable children. The research is mainly sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). A diverse group of health care professionals including pediatricians, nurses, speech pathologists, nutritionists, social workers and pediatric dentists all work together to improve the health of children living in poverty and those with disabilities.

The Research office offers pre-submission grant review assistance to all GSDM faculty, residents and students. This service is offered to any member of the GSDM community who intends to apply for extramural funding. The Research office will solicit the help of established researchers on the Boston University Medical Campus.
