Drs. Miklos Sahin-Toth and Richard Szmola Lecture at Digestive Disease Week

Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology Miklos Sahin-Toth, was invited to present a lecture at Digestive Disease Week (DDW), held May 17-22 in San Diego, California. Sahin-Toth’s lecture was titled, Trypsin Inhibitors in Pancreatitis, and focused on his ongoing pancreatic research.
Sahin-Toth was accompanied by Research Associate Richard Szmola, whose abstract titled, Genetic Defects in the Trypsin Degrading Enzyme Chymotrypsin C (CTRC) Are Associated With Chronic Pancreatitis, was also selected for oral presentation at DDW.
DDW is the largest and most prestigious meeting in the gastroenterological sciences. Every year it attracts approximately 16,000 physicians, researchers, and academics from around the world.
