Dr. Victor Dietz Receives Frederick Moynihan Award

Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM) Associate Professor and Director of the Advanced Orthodontic Training Program Victor Dietz ORTHO 71 received the Frederick Moynihan Award for contributions to the profession of orthodontics in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

This award was presented to Dr. Dietz by the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists (MAO) at a luncheon held during Yankee Dental Congress 34. It was awarded based on his dedication, perseverance, and vision to educate as well as his insistence on a benchmark of excellence for those who choose the profession of orthodontics.

"I am honored to receive this award named after someone who has such prominence in Massachusetts orthodontic circles," said Dr. Dietz. "It means a lot to me as an academician and validates the path I have chosen."

"Dr. Dietz is very deserving of this award," said Dean Jeffrey Hutter. "At BUGSDM we are all aware of the many things he has accomplished for the School and it’s students over the past three decades and it is wonderful to see his peers acknowledge this as well."
