Dr. Dan Nathanson Leads GSDM Involvement in IFED World Congress

From August 2 to 4 the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) held its 6th World Congress at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The meeting, hosted by the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED) attracted 1,600 participants from 45 countries, among them 25 Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) alumni and residents.
Two GSDM prosthodontic residents won prizes for their posters at this meeting. Aws ArRejaie PROS 09, MSD 10 won second prize for the poster titled, "Bond Strength of Multiple Conventional Veneering Porcelains to Y-TZP with Various Surface Treatments," and Abdul Binmahfooz PROS 09, MSD 10 won third prize for the poster titled, "Photocuring vs. Autocuring Resin Cements".
Professor and Chair of the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials Dr. Dan Nathanson is the 2009 IFED President and served on the IFED Planning Committee along with 2009 AAED President, John West ENDO 75.
