Courtney Brady DMD 10 Selected for Prestigious Scholarship

In a ceremony in his office on April 28, Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter presented Courtney Brady DMD 10 with a scholarship from the Foundation of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Brady’s father, Keith Brady, also attended.

Faculty nominated Brady for the award based on the dedication she has shown as a dental student. Brady has excelled academically, clinically, in research, in student government, and in community service during her four years at GSDM.

"Courtney is one of the busiest and most dedicated students at the Dental School," said Dean Hutter. "No matter what she is tasked with she always has a smile on her face. I was very pleased to witness her enthusiastic leadership skills in action at the recent BU Relay for Life event." Dean Hutter continued, "She is a positive role model for other students at the School."

The Foundation gives the award annually to students they deem to have made "extraordinary accomplishments and set fine examples for their peers, in school and beyond."

Brady was both pleasantly surprised and honored to receive the award and her father expressed how proud he was to see her hard work and dedication honored with this award.
