Student Teaching Assistant Program a Great Success for 2011-2012 School Year

Fourth–year DMD student teaching assistants for the Pre-Doctoral Occlusion and Pre-Clinical Removable Prosthodontics courses were honored at a luncheon on May 15. The students assisted Clinical Associate Professor Dr. Mark Ferriero and Clinical Professor and Director of the Pre-doctoral Removable Prosthodontics Dr. Ronni Schnell with their respective courses for the 2011-2012 School year.

Student teaching assistants included:

Pre-Clinical Removable Prosthodontics: Jun Hyuk Hwang, Alisun Kovach, Saif Naji, Lucinda Barry, Vera Chernomordik, and Madhav Shrirao

Pre-Doctoral Occlusion: Jeffrey Bellanti, Seth Caldon, Kimberley Ung, Mary Chau, Jared Cheng, Michael Courtney, Adar Finkel, Jun Hyuk Hwang, Joseph Kabaklian, Andrew Miller, Sarah Naghibi, Derek Seung Han Song, and Betty Suh

This was the first year that this large of a group of student teaching assistants was assembled, with great success. Both Drs. Ferriero and Schnell were extremely thankful to the students for all the help that they provided.
