Dinner Honors Graduating PEDO Residents

A dinner recognizing graduating residents of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine Advanced Specialty Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry took place on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the BU Castle.

The 2013 Pediatric Dentistry graduates are: Faith Drennon, Marcy Gabrilowitz, Firouzeh Jamshidi, Jenny Kramar, Aimee Leibowitz, Michael Luong, Sandhya Mennon , Michael Richler, Ashley Turrittin, and Seung-Won (Angie) Yoon .

The evening’s program consisted of a cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner. Both the Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Wendy Cheney and (now former) Chair of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Christopher Hughes gave speeches at the gathering. They each praised the graduates for their hard work and determination. In her remarks, Dr. Cheney thanked Dr. Hughes for his leadership in the Department over almost 20 years and wished him well in his new endeavors.

Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter said “Congratulations to the graduates on their accomplishments. I know they have worked diligently toward this achievement. I also commend the faculty and staff for their dedication to the residents and to the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.”
