GSDM Applauds Dental Assisting Graduates

Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s (GSDM) Division of Continuing Education (CE) held its Dental Assisting Graduation on Friday, November 15, 2013. Five students received their certificates after completing a nine-week program at GSDM.
Congratulations to the graduates: Alfonso Falcon, Karla Jimenez, Noreen Needham, Julie Segewick, and Pamela Tsui.
Director of the Division of Continuing Education Dr. Zhimon Jacobson handed out the certificates, congratulated the graduates, and joined the students and their families to celebrate their achievements.
CE’s Dental Assisting Training Program is a combination of hands-on classes and lectures, teaching the necessary responsibilities and skills required to work as a dental assistant.
“We concluded another successful dental assistant training program this semester with five outstanding candidates,” said Dr. Jacobson. “The quality of our students is very high and I am sure they will represent Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine very well. I wish them the best in their new careers.”
“Congratulations to the graduates,” said Dean Jeffrey W. Hutter. “The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine’s Division of Continuing Education’s dental assisting program offers the highest quality training and they are ready to start their new careers.”
