Fourth Annual Staff Forum Halloween Party a Spooky Success

Embracing the spirit of Halloween, the Staff Forum at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) hosted their fourth Staff Forum Halloween Party on October 28, 2016. The party provided an opportunity for staff members to gather together, meet new faces, and foster a sense of community between departments.
Revelers gathered in Classroom 301 for a fun-filled hour of pizza, pumpkin bread, candy, and warm apple cider. The main feature was a costume contest where the top three costumes were awarded gift baskets. The costume highlights included an astronaut, a swat team member, an inmate, a mail parcel, and smarty pants. The vote was too close to call a winner of the contest at press time

The Staff Forum was created under Goal 6 of the GSDM Applied Strategic Plan, which seeks to “Sustain an environment of mutual respect and a strong sense of community and ownership.” One of the ways the Staff Forum has contributed to this goal and foster a sense of community is through annual events such as the Halloween Party.
On Monday, October 31, staff at the Dental Center at 930 Commonwealth Ave also took part in a Halloween fest. Thank you to all who participated.
