Dr. Anthony Gianelly Remembered by Alumni at AAO Reception

Nearly 50 GSDM Orthodontic alumni came together in Chicago for a reception held during the 2011 AAO Annual Session in early May.

Associate Professor and Director of the Advanced Orthodontic Training Program Victor Dietz welcomed all of the guests and later said, “The reception was great! We had a very nice turnout and it was fun seeing so many alumni, as it always is. I really enjoyed chatting with everyone and catching up on what is going on in their lives.”

Also during the reception a memorial booklet was distributed to the alums in attendance, which featured many of their personal stories and favorite memories of the late Dr. Anthony Gianelly.

“I always enjoy meeting alumni and hearing about their memories of the orthodontic program at BU,” added Chair & Anthony A. Gianelly Professor in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and Director of the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics Dr. Leslie Will. “This reception was especially full of memories because of the booklet honoring Dr. Gianelly”.
