Predoctoral Signout

You will signout using SPS. Read the instructions carefully and monitor your progress. After you have received all other signatures and have no financial obligation to the University, you will need to email the GSDM Office of the Registrar at sdmreg@bu.edu from your BU email to complete signout. Your sign out completion date and program duration determine your official graduation date.

Postdoctoral Signout

You will need to obtain electronic signatures from your chairman and/or director and from several other administrative offices. A checklist is available to guide you through the sign out process. After you have received all other signatures and have no financial obligation to the University, you will need to email the GSDM Office of the Registrar at sdmreg@bu.edu from your BU email to complete signout. Your sign out completion date and program duration determine your official graduation date.

Verifications & Transcripts

• Verification of completion requests can be processed only after final sign out has been completed.
• Verification of graduation requests can only be processed on or after your official graduation date.
• Final transcript (with degree and date of conferral) requests can only be processed on or after your official graduation date.
