Goldman School of Dental Medicine by facilitating effective communication within Boston University; with prospective and current students; faculty and staff; alumni and friends; corporate and government entities; and the media. We are here to assist with all of your communications needs!

Guidelines for designing any content for a GSDM event
- For internal BU events, include the GSDM logo
- For external events, include both the Boston University plate logo and the GSDM logo.

How do I make a change to an existing web page or add a new page?

How can I get add or update my bio on the GSDM website (faculty and staff only)?

Can I create a separate website from the main dental school website (bu.edu/dental)?
In most instances, we cannot approve the creation of office or department websites that are separate from the school’s website, as it is important to keep all information about GSDM in one centralized place. This improves the user experience and reduces the chances of outdated or redundant information. We are happy to discuss your web needs, however, in order to identify a solution that will achieve your objectives.

Can I create a separate social media account for my department?
In most instances, we cannot approve the creation of office or department social media accounts that are separate from the school’s main social media pages, as it is important to keep all GSDM content in one centralized place, run by our team. However, we are happy to discuss your needs in order to identify a solution that will achieve your objectives.

Can you photograph/record my event?
Yes, we are available to photography and record school events (pending availability). Please email Dan Bomba, multimedia content creator, at labamba@bu.edu with more information about your event, including date and location.

Can you take my headshot for the website and for my LinkedIn?
Yes, please email our photographer, Dan Bomba, at labamba@bu.edu to schedule an appointment. Please note that all headshots are taken in the Fuller Building (85 E Newton Street, 10th floor, directly across the street from the dental school).

I was interviewed for an article/social media feature and was told I need my photo taken, now what do I do?

Can I add something to the GSDM TV Screens and/or post something on social media?
To add something to the digital screens in the dental school, please email Taline Kalo, web & graphic designer, at tkalo@bu.edu with the content you’d like to share and the dates it should be featured. To request that something be posted to one of our social media channels, please email Dan Bomba, multimedia content creator, at labamba@bu.edu with the content you’d like to share and why it’s relevant to the GSDM audiences. Please note that we do not guarantee that we will be able to share all content requests.
