Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstruction Fellowship
The Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery (MORS) Fellowship at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine provides 24 months of intensive clinical exposure to the management of the head and neck oncology patient.
More than 60,000 new cases of head and neck cancer are diagnosed annually in the United States. These cancers have devastating effects on patients’ quality of life: Treatment can be disfiguring and often makes normal activities like speech and eating impossible and/or unusually painful. The field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is positioned at the forefront of this disease and is in desperate need of qualified individuals to tackle this global epidemic.
