Accessing Accommodations
In order to implement reasonable accommodations in the classroom, your professors must receive a letter outlining your individual accommodations. Starting in the Summer of 2024, Accommodate will automatically issue your Faculty Accommodation Letter (FAL) every semester. If you would like to request customized FALs (with specific accommodations omitted, or if anything needs to be corrected), sign into your Accommodate portal and submit your request:
- Log in to your Accommodate portal and click the “Submit a Semester Request” link on the right-hand side.
- Click “Add New” and follow the prompts. You will notice a red X next to each accommodation.
This X will change to a green check once we process your request, which can take up to two weeks.
