First-Gen Faculty & Staff Community Network

The First Generation FSCN at Boston University is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive community for faculty and staff members who identify as first-generation and their allies. We hope to provide resources, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to support the academic and career advancement of first-generation faculty and staff throughout the year. As this is the first year of the First-Gen FSCN’s existence, we hope to create a vibrant network of first-generation community members to share experiences, celebrate achievements, and cultivate a sense of belonging and solidarity.
