Cafe Brazil is a great little spot in Allston to get some brigadeiros, truffles, pao de queijos, and coxinhas. This cafe is run by very sweet people and they have excellent service. They take the time to explain every snack and dessert to you if you don't know what it is, give recommendations, and patiently wait for you to pick a single dessert. Also, it's the best regular hot coffee I have had in my entire life. No exaggeration.

I am a long time customer at the Padaria Brasileira. I always stop by to have an empadinha and a coxinha when I am around. I also love and recommend their flan (Pudim de leite).These are the kinds of snacks and cakes we would eat at parties growing up in Brazil. I also love to seat down (before COVID-19) and watch the older Brazilian generation having coffee and talking just like they would if we were in Brazil. It was like taking a little trip to visit family.
