As the director, I am excited to share with you info about CARD where we provide cognitive behavioral psychotherapy (CBT) services for a range of anxiety and mood symptoms, including panic and phobias, worry, social anxiety, OCD, depression, pain, and insomnia. We have a range of services here that include free treatment within federally funded treatment outcome studies, to clinical care delivered by PhD candidates on a sliding scale or licensed BU faculty members. CBT starts with an assessment that allows individual tailoring to each person and consists of a short-term, goal-oriented, skills-based approach to talk therapy. All are welcome here.

I just started seeing a therapist here and she has already provided me in the short time I have worked with her great coping mechanisms for dealing with my anxiety. I think it is important for prospective students to have a comprehensive list of places where they can seek support for mental health.
