Citizen TALES Commons creates structures of empowerment to scholars and artists who fight against exclusion. It is an open interdisciplinary platform/collective that fosters collaboration, innovation, cross-pollination, and creative scholarship. I founded it last year as the prototype of my Master’s in Civic Media: Art and Practice at Emerson College and since then it has grown and has helped more than fifty members, including two BU undergraduates, to thrive in their fields.
