This art space showcases Black, PoC, and queer artists. It is affordable and offers unique exhibits and musical performances. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible.

Dorchester Art Project continues to highlight and support artists and people from underrepresented groups—including people of color, women, and queer artists—in a space that embraces the diversity of Dorchester and explores socially conscious and culturally important ideas. I've attended art openings and performances, and brought my son in during their gallery hours. Every show offers a chance to see the talent and often-erased perspectives in Boston. The space is located in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester, and a visit offers a chance to get some of Boston's best Vietnamese food, too.
