Haley House Bakery Café

Haley House is a place to get food, and a community center with events, readings, art, and music. Their Mission: "to support the physical, economic and social well-being of the community, one meal at a time." Every Saturday evening at the Bakery Café in Dudley Square, they open for Community Tables, a three-course “pay-what-you-can” dinner made of locally sourced ingredients and lots of loving attention from volunteers. Neighbors, both local and from afar, come together to share a rich meal and dynamic conversation. Haley House is part of a larger institution with a social conscious that includes a farm, soup kitchen, food pantry, and housing. They also provide catering.

Haley House has it all: amazing community events and delicious baked goods. They host open mics, block parties, and more, and their funds go towards job training, housing, food security, and more community needs. It's a wonderful place to volunteer!
