Liquid Hair Studios

I've been going to Liquid for probably six years now. Their employees provide quite a bit of LGBT+ representation (much of the shop, from what I know, falls under the umbrella) and are super welcoming. They're not the cheapest, but I love the eccentric atmosphere and my stylist does a WONDERFUL job. They have a whole wall of hair dye colors, though they certainly don't just do "alternative" styles. Location always seems clean. It's also pretty easy to get to, on Tremont Street near Back Bay Station. I'm a cis white lesbian, so I can't speak personally or from experience as to how, say, a trans individual or someone of color would experience the location, but I can't imagine they'd be treated any differently there than I am. Occasionally a pet dog or two will be in the shop, though, so be careful if you're very allergic.
