This book details the life and experiences of Haben Girma, a woman of color with disabilities, who graduated from Harvard Law and who she advocated for herself and continues to advocate for people with disabilities. This memoir details how Haben creating new systems of communication and how she learned non-visible techniques to learn various activities from dancing to power saws.
