Equity Vs Equality: What’s the Difference?

This article explains the meanings of inequality, equality, equity, and justice as they can be applied to social systems and our understanding of them. This article explains the overlap between the inequality social institutions create and the equality that exists by allowing these systems to disproportionately favor people. In addition, this article explains how to create an equitable society to assist those disproportionately affected by inequality, and how to create a just society by fixing the systems themselves.
