The The CTL’s Annual Educational Innovation Conference (AEIC) was held May 3 and welcomed nearly 150 faculty, staff, graduate students, and post-docs across many disciplines. Faculty Spotlight: With guidance and support from DL&I, Lecturer in the CAS Writing Program and Faculty Consultant on DigitalLearning Modules, Pary Fassihi successfully created online instructional videos with built-in assessments and learning exercises for students to complete at home and reorganized class time for more interactive writing workshops and hands-on activities.Through a DL&I/CAS grant and support from the CAS Writing Program’s Director of ESL, Maria Zlateva, these efforts have now resulted in a larger program initiative. DL&I proudly hosted the Spring ’19 Adobe Creative Jam at the Yawkey Center for Student Services on April 18th. Nearly 40 energized and highly motivated BU Terriers identified a specific community within BU and designed a way to support diversity and build inclusion within that community.
