Geddes Language Lab Innovates

Boston University College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) continually invests in advancing language resources for faculty and students. One of the latest innovations is providing students and faculty with individualized oral assessments. Geddes is also an early adopter of the MyMedia platform for archival and delivery of its many multimedia resources. It’s all part of the Center’s commitment to providing an extensive humanities resource for CAS and the Boston University community.
We visited the Center’s 42-station Computer Lab and spoke with Director Mark Lewis and with faculty member Molly Monet-Viera, who uses the facility as both an assessment resource and an enabling technology to help students engage with the material.
