Zooming Through Long-Block Classes

Spring 2020 semester, Associate Professor Matt Marx taught two “long block” courses online: one with 3-hour sessions and another with 8-hour sessions. In this presentation, he shares techniques for keeping students engaged for extended periods of time, how to avoid gimmicks that backfire, etc.
