Introduction to Blackboard Ally

Blackboard Ally focuses on digital accessibility for students, seamlessly integrating with Blackboard courses. Ally provides guidance and tips for lasting improvements to your content accessibility, and in addition automatically creates alternative versions of compatible files. Bb Ally allows students to choose the type of file (compatible files) they want that best suits their needs. With Blackboard Ally you can: Automatically check course materials against WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards Provide students with accessible alternative formats such as audio and electronic braille Receive guidance and step-by-step instructions to improve accessibility of your course content This session will provide an overview of Alternative Formats, Accessibility Scores, and Course Accessibility Report. Please note: This hands-on workshop is open to all faculty and academic staff from both campuses. *Registrants will receive a Zoom link within 24-48 hours of the scheduled session.
