Leave of absence information session for non-BU/external study abroad participation

Students participating in a non-BU/external study abroad program for Spring 2019 must arrange an appointment with the University Service Center associate directors in the month of December to complete leave of absence paperwork. This fall the USC will offer group leave of absence information sessions on select dates in November and December. Students interested in pursuing an external study abroad program can attend the group session (lasting 45-50 minutes) and will be sent the leave of absence paperwork to complete and return to the USC at any point through December 20, 2018. The leave of absence will be updated without a need for a follow-up in-person appointment. We hope these information sessions will be a useful alternative for students whose December class, exam, and work schedules make it tricky to arrange an appointment prior to leaving campus for the Intersession holiday!
