My research focuses on the dynamics of oceanic DOM, both natural and anthropogenic. I study biogeochemical, biotic, and abiotic processes that alter the fluxes and stocks of refractory DOM in the ocean, using a coupled approach of CDOM measurements and chemical analyses.
