BU GDPC Event Features BU PhD Econ Alums Ashoka Mody and Neva Goodwin
On Tuesday, February 27th, BU’s Global Development Policy Center will host BU Economics PhD Alum Ashoka Mody, who will be speaking on his recent book, India is Broken: A People Betrayed, Independence to Today. The event will be moderated by Neva Goodwin, who is also an alum of the BU Economics PhD program.
Ashoka Mody is currently a Visiting Professor of International Economic Policy at Princeton University. Neva Goodwin is an Alumni Advisory Board Member for the Boston University Global Development Policy Center and a Distinguished Fellow at BU’s Economics in Context Initiative.
This event is part of the Spring 2024 Global Economic Governance Book Talk series. This event is co-sponsored by the Global Development Policy Center and the Department of Economics.
The event is hybrid. It will be in the 2nd floor lounge at BU Hillel (213 Bay State Road) and on Zoom from 4:00 – 6:00PM EST.
