Hiroaki Kaido works on theoretical and applied topics in econometrics. His theoretical research focuses on methodological issues surrounding identification and inference in the analysis of partially identified economic models. He also works on the development of robust and computationally attractive inference methods for such settings. Before joining BU, he received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego.
