Stefano Pica is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Boston University. He is an applied macroeconomist interested in the interaction of monetary policy, household finance, and housing. In his job market paper, he studies the role of the housing and mortgage market institutions in explaining the heterogeneous transmission mechanism of monetary policy across Euro Area countries. Stefano holds an MA from CEMFI (Madrid), and both a BA and an MSc from the University of Naples Federico II.
