Economics Writing Tutors

Beginning Fall 2023, The Department of Economics has partnered with the CAS Writing Program to provide students the opportunity to visit with an undergraduate peer writing tutor. Our Economics Tutors are here to help with writing assignments from all undergraduate Economics courses, and are available for anyone enrolled in them.

Tutoring sessions for the Fall 2023 semester will be offered both remotely and in-person. See the tutor profiles below for more info.
We encourage students to share the assignment prompt with the writing tutor to make sure they are clear about the specific writing issues or subject knowledge for which they need help.

Michael Iacobelli

(he/him)

Michael is a junior majoring in Economics and Political Science with an interest in domestic fiscal policy solutions and law. He is a member of the NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Team here at BU and enjoys contributing in a variety of ways to the team. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports and supporting the Philadelphia-based sports teams.

Hanna Dworkin

(she/her)

Hanna is a Senior from Lemont, Illinois studying Economics and Political Science & Philosophy on a pre-law track. She loves writing anything from empirical essays to freelance poetry. On campus, she is involved with Student Government, where she serves as the Senate Chair. In her free time, Hanna enjoys exploring Boston, spending time with friends, and making artwork.
