For beginners. Introduction to spoken and written Persian and to fundamentals of Persian grammar, with oral drills and written exercises. 4 cr. Tuition: $2180

Summer 1 (June 13-July 15):

Second-Semester Modern Persian CAS LZ 112

Prereq: (CAS LZ 111) or equivalent. For beginners. Continues CAS LZ 111. Spoken and written Persian and fundamentals of Persian grammar, with oral drills and written exercises.  4 cr. Tuition: $2180

Summer 2 (July 18-August 19):

Third-Semester Modern Persian CAS LZ 211

Prereq: (CAS LZ 112) or equivalent. Development of communication skills acquired in the first year (LZ 111 and 112).    4 cr. Tuition: $2180

Summer 1 (June 13-July 15):

Fourth-Semester Modern Persian CAS LZ 212

Prereq: (CAS LZ 112) or equivalent. Continues LZ 211. Development of communication skills acquired in the first year (CAS LZ 111 and 112). Satisfactory completion of CAS LZ 212 fulfills the CAS language requirement. 4 cr. Tuition: $2180
