We note with sadness the passing of Professor Emeritus Sir Geoffrey Hill on 30 June 2016. Professor Hill was a founding Co-Director of the Institute, serving until his retirement in 2006. Catherine Ahearn Receives a Graduate Research Abroad Fellowship

Doctoral candidate Catherine Ahearn has been awarded one of this year's GRAF stipends to fund her dissertation research in Dublin for this spring 2016 semester. While in Dublin she is working with the archives at the National Library of Ireland, Trinity College, and University College Dublin.
